Four Exhibitions Signify Conclusion of Academic Chapter

Emerging artists who are candidates for a Master of Fine Arts (MFA) or a Bachelor of Fine Art (BFA) degree will present their creative thesis projects in four successive week-long exhibitions at the Samuel Dorsky Museum of Art at SUNY New Paltz. In addition, Bachelor of Fine Arts students with a concentration in Graphic Design will present their thesis projects at Omnibus. Omnibus occurs on Friday, May 5. It includes guest lecturers and a reception along with the student portfolio viewings.

Please note, there are special museum hours for West Wing of the museum during BFA/MFA exhibitions. They are Saturday 11-5, Sunday 1-5, Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday 11-5. The West Wing is closed Thursday and Friday for installation.

Museum events are free and open to all. The Samuel Dorsky Museum of Art is wheelchair accessible. For additional information call 845-257-3844.
