NEW PALTZ, NY — The SUNY New Paltz Athletic Department is proud to welcome all students, faculty, and staff to the new Athletic and Wellness Center for today’s Open House. From 10:00 am — 7:00 pm on Monday, March 27 the doors of the new facility will be open for all to come and see. Tours are available throughout the day so we encourage all to catch a glimpse at the new 57,000 square-foot, “State-of-the-Art” athletic building. SUNY New Paltz Athletic Department staff will be present and on hand to answer any questions you may have about the new Athletic and Wellness Center.
The Athletic and Wellness Center is scheduled for a Grand Opening Ceremony tomorrow, Tuesday, March 28 at 1:00 pm. As with the Open House, all students, faculty and staff are invited to join the ceremony. At 3:00 pm on Tuesday, following the opening ceremony, the Athletic and Wellness Center will be open for “Business as usual”. All of those who plan on using or visiting the new facility over the next couple weeks, and for future use, are instructed to have their SUNY New Paltz identification card with them at all times. One’s identification card will independently grant the user access to all the individual features of the Athletic and Wellness Center, including the walking and jogging track.
