Sisco Named SUNYAC Player of the Week for Field Hockey

FREDONIA, NY — SUNY New Paltz sophomore midfielder Jacqueline Sisco (Wappingers Falls, NY) has been named the State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) Player of the Week for her stellar performances in last week’s competitions. This is her first conference player of the week accolade.

Sisco earned the Player of the Week honor in field hockey for the week ending October 23. Sisco lead SUNY New Paltz to a 2-1 week with two goals and two assists. Her best game of the week came in a 6-0 victory against Wells College where she scored her second goal and tallied her second assist of the season.

In the Hawks 3-2 overtime win against Elmira College, Jacqueline recorded her second goal of the week and her third goal of the season for the Hawks who are 6-10 overall and 1-4 in the SUNYAC.
