Hawks Winning Streak Continues

RIVERDALE, NY — The SUNY New Paltz men’s volleyball team extended its winning streak to six with a 3-1 victory over NECVA Metro Division rival Mount Saint Vincent this evening.

The Hawks (8-5) avenged a 3-1 loss to the Dolphins two weeks earlier at Elting Gym.

SUNY New Paltz took the first two games, 30-21 and 30-22. After Mount Saint Vincent rallied to win game three 30-25 the, the Hawks closed out the match with a 30-28 win.

Ryan Rullard led the way with 15 kills, four blocks and a .423 hitting percentage. Chris Ganje added 11 kills, six blocks and a .333 hitting percentage.

Jason Karpf directed the offense and finished with 47 assists.
