SCHENECTADY, NY — The SUNY New Paltz women’s swimming team won eight out of nine relays to earn a share of first place with host Union College at the Union Relays this afternoon.
Among the first place finishes for SUNY New Paltz were the 400 medley relay team of Katie Rapp, Christina Magill, Liz Delia and Joanna Masterson. The 3-by-100 team of Danielle Lindner, Claire Gerard and Andrea Ditter finished first along with the 3-by-100 butterfly team of Delia of Nevine Roberts and Liz Ruggiero.
The men’s swimming team finished fourth and earned a victory in the 200 medley relay. The winning relay team featured Kent Yeung, Nick Johnson, Jeff Melton and Craig Gottesman.
