NEW PALTZ, NY — SUNY New Paltz senior guard Matt Daudier (S. Floral Park, NY — Floral Park Memorial) has been named the Player of the Week in the State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC).
Daudier scored a career-high 32 points to lead the Hawks to an 82-77 win over Baruch on November 25. Daudier was 10-of-19 from the field and 4-of-7 from three-point range. He also had four assists, three rebounds, and two steals to help New Paltz earn its first win of the season.
The Hawks (1-2) have two conference games ahead of them this week. New Paltz will host Oneonta on Tuesday (Dec. 2) at 8:00 p.m. and will play at Potsdam on Saturday (Dec. 6) at 4:00 p.m.
