NEW PALTZ, NY — Keith Roloson, a junior pitcher for the SUNY New Paltz baseball team has been named SUNYAC Pitcher of the Week for the week ending April 6.
In his only start of the week, Roloson took a no-hitter into the sixth inning against conference rival SUNYIT on Sunday. In six innings pitched, the Westtown, NY native gave up just two hits and struck out six batters.
In four appearances and sixteen innings of work, Roloson has compiled a 2-1 record and has struck out 15 batters.
New Paltz is currently 5-12 overall and 1-1 in the SUNYAC Conference. The Hawks are looking to clinch a spot in the SUNYAC Tournament after missing the playoffs a year ago.
