Hawks Compete at NYU FastTrack Invitational

NEW YORK, NY — The SUNY New Paltz men and women’s indoor track and field teams competed at the New York University FastTrack Invitational Friday.

Andrea Drayss (Island Park, NY) and Jenny Hutchinson (Queensbury, NY) each had 6th places finishes to highlight the day for the women. Drayss was 6th in the shot put with a throw of 11.59 meters and Hutchinson took 6th in the pole vault with a mark of nine feet, six and ΒΌ inches.

Christina Butcher (North Salem, NY) finished 10th in the 60 meter hurdles finishing the race in 9.87 seconds, while Natasha Dudar (New Paltz, NY) was 10th in the long jump (5.04m) and Stephanie Ramsey (Shelton, CT) was 13th (4.72m).

On the men’s side, Phil Goodwin (Rochester, NY) came in 16th in the men’s mile finishing with a time of 4:25.10 and Sean McCormick (Suffern, NY) was 18th in the men’s 1000 meters with a time of 2:36.30.

Also for the men, Dan Holton (Rhinebeck, NY) placed 22nd in the men’s 3000 meters (9:03.45) and Justin Lee (East Fishkill, NY) was 27th in the men’s 800 (2:01.78).
