Baruch Pulls Away From Hawks

NEW YORK, NY — After a 36-36 tie at the half, Baruch College pulled away from SUNY New Paltz in the second outscoring them 51-31 en route to an 87-67 win.

The game marked the first home contest on campus for Baruch College in 30 years.

Baruch erupted after the break going up by 17 points with 11:53 remaining in the second half and the Hawks never got within less than 11 the rest of the way.

Sime Marnike led the charge for the victors with 21. Daniel Guilford added 17.

Pete Ferenz had 16 to lead New Paltz with Danny Goldberg adding 15.
