LIVERPOOL, NY — The SUNY New Paltz women’s field hockey team lost its third conference game of the season Saturday to Oswego 1-0.
Kayla Rathbun (Little Falls, NY) scored the lone goal for the Great Lakers with 17:55 left in the first half. Robyn Bramoff (Sag Harbor, NY) assisted on the goal.
Oswego goalies Ashley Perkins (Oneida, NY) and Tiffani Vattiato (Holtsville, NY) combined for five saves in the victory. Erica Engstrom (Montauk, NY) made five saves in the goal for the Hawks.
The win gives the Lakers a 5-8 overall record and a 2-1 mark in the SUNYAC. The Hawks slip to 1-3 in the conference and 3-11 overall.
