Art books featured at used book sale
NEW PALTZ — The Friends of the Sojourner Truth Library will hold its semi-annual used book sale at the State University of New York at New Paltz April 22 through May 3.
The regular sale, which is on-going during all library hours, offers hardcover books for $1 and paperbacks priced at 50 cents each. Books cover all subjects and additional books are added to the sale each day.
For a limited time, the Friends sale will feature a specially-priced collection of art books. This is an exceptional opportunity to acquire outstanding books at very reasonable prices. The art book sale will take place Monday, April 29 through Wednesday, May 1 from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. only. As with the regular sale, all proceeds benefit the college library.
Books in these sales have all been donated to the Friends of the Library “Books for Books” program by college faculty, staff, students, alumni, and by community members. Since 1998, “Books for Books” has raised more than $14,000 for Sojourner Truth Library.
Sojourner Truth Library is open Monday through Thursday from 8:30 a.m. to 11:30 p.m.; Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 9 p.m.; Saturday from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m.; and Sunday from 1 to 11:30 p.m.
