NEW PALTZ — The women’s team evened their conference record to 1-1 on the season Saturday defeating the Potsdam Bears by a final score of 58-52.
New Paltz had a balanced attack with sophomore Maura McShane (East Rockaway, NY) leading the way with 13 points. Junior forward Silver Williams (Newburgh, NY) and sophomore forward Lindsay Dakin (Andover, CT) each were in double figures with 10 apiece.
The women’s team plays again Tuesday at home against Skidmore at 7:00 pm in their final game of 2001. The Hawks will next be in action on the 8th of January against Brockport.
