NEW PALTZ — After grabbing a comfortable two-game lead in the match, New Paltz dropped the next two and had to pull out the pivotal game five for a 3-2 victory over Manhattanville Tuesday night. The Hawks improve their record to 5-16 on the season.
Senior Crystal Smith (Westhampton, NY) had 12 kills, 14 digs, and 2 aces, Sophomore Caroline Kuncken (Wayne, NJ) had 10 kills, 1 block, 8 digs, and 4 aces, Senior Gisselle Medina (Brentwood, NY) had 31 assists, 1 kill, 1 block and 1 ace, and Sophomore Wendy Del Orbe (New York, NY) had 7 kills, 14 digs and 4 aces in the match.
Women’s Volleyball travels to Oswego this weekend.
