NEW PALTZ — After returning home from the SUNYAC Championships this past weekend, the Women’s Tennis Team got back to its winning ways by defeating visiting Western Connecticut 6-3 on Tuesday. Women’s Tennis is now 10-3 on the season.
In singles, Kerry Farrell (Rockville Centre, NY) won 6-2, 6- 2, Barbara Slovak (Harriman, NY) won 6-1, 6-2, Jessica Smith won 6-0, 6-1, and Amie Larson (Port Jervis, NY) swept her opponent 6-0, 6-0. In doubles play, Farrell and Slovak won 8-4 and Megan Crevoiserat (Levittown, NY) and Smith were victorious 8-2.
The Women return to action Wednesday against Vassar.
