NEW PALTZ — Women’s Field Hockey lost a tight match Saturday against visiting Elmira College 1-0. The loss drops the Hawks’ record to 2-11 on the year.
Erika Graver scored the only goal of the game for the Soaring Eagles. Sarah Vogel picked up the assist. New Paltz was outshot in the match 11-2 and Goalkeeper Liz Clarke (Stone Ridge, NY) made 10 saves.
New Paltz Field Hockey plays again Wednesday at Dietz Stadium in Kingston against Misericordia at 4:00.
