NEW PALTZ — The women’s volleyball team fell in four matches over the weekend at the Bomber Invitational in Ithaca. On Friday, the Hawks lost to Ithaca 21-30, 15-30, 16-30 and R.I.T. 21-30, 25-30, 19-30. Saturday saw the women lose close matches to Pittsburgh-Bradford (17-30, 30-19, 30-14, 25-30, 7-15) and Hamilton (26-30, 30-21, 17-30, 22-30). Crystal Smith (Westhampton, NY) finished the weekend with 39 kills, 7 blocks and 52 digs, Gisselle Medina (Brentwood, NY) had 78 assists, 46 digs and 10 aces and Lisa Mason (Camillus, NY) finished with 39 digs and 20 service aces. The Hawks return to action on the 11th against Union and play at home the following day at 7:00 PM against Ramapo.
