Political Science Experts to Meet at SUNY New Paltz

NEW PALTZ — Political science experts will meet at SUNY New Paltz May 4-5 for the 55th annual New York State Political Science conference.

During the two-day conference, attendees will take part in programs discussing American government, Canadian politics, international relations, the judicial process, state and local government, political theory, and teaching political science

The annual conference is the New York State Political Science Association’s principal activity, which attracts about 250 panelists and roundtable participants. Although the association primarily supports political science experts in New York, it also attracts a number of experts from universities and institutions from other states and nations. For example, this year’s conference includes papers from Harvard, University of Virginia, California Baptist University, the United Nations, Princeton University, University of Haifa, Universida Nacional Autonoma de Mexico and McGill University.
