Women’s Basketball Team Defeats Fredonia
NEW PALTZ — New Paltz got back to .500 with an 80-72 win over conference rival Fredonia on Friday night at Elting Gymnasium.
Freshman point guard Britni Bishop (five assists) scored a game-high 21 points, including 14 points in the second half to help pace the (3-3 overall, 2-2 SUNYAC) Hawks, which have one game remaining in the first semester tomorrow at 2 p.m. against Buffalo State.
Mimi Williams, meanwhile, had 18 points in the loss for Fredonia (3-3 overall, 1-3 SUNYAC).
