The Dorsky announces two special events on Nov. 11 and 12
November events at the Dorsky: The opening reception of "Reading Objects 2011," Nov. 11, is part of an ongoing, interdisciplinary series featuring works from the permanent collection of The Dorsky Museum. The works on display are accompanied by texts or other responses prepared by New Paltz faculty, staff and (new this year) students. And a symposium organized in connection with The Dorsky Museum’s current exhibition "Linking Collections, Building Connections: Works from the Hudson Valley Visual Art Collections Consortium," takes place on Saturday, Nov. 12 at the New Paltz campus.
