NEW PALTZ — After a close first half, the Fredonia State Blue Devils opened the game open with four second-half goals to claim a 5-0 victory over New Paltz.
Tim Wyand, Kyle Marvin, Blair Engel, Brian Abrams, and Matt Wellgoss scored for Fredonia in the win. The Blue Devils held a 12-8 advantage in shots on goal. Goalkeepers Kevin Smith (Niskayuna, NY) and Michael Vaughan-Cherubin (Albany, NY) combined for 7 saves on the afternoon.
