"Let’s Talk About Race, Gender and Identity" Symposium, Nov. 16
NEW PALTZ– The Student Association at the State University of New York at New Paltz will host a campus-wide symposium, “Let’s Talk About Race, Gender and Identity” on Saturday, Nov. 16, in the Student Union Building.
The program begins at 1 p.m. with lunch and registration. The program continues with opening remarks by New Paltz President Donald Christian, the Student Association President Manuel Tejada, and Associate Professor Karanja Keita Carroll, Black Studies. The symposium continues until 6 p.m. with workshops, a keynote address by Michael Fowlin, and will conclude with small facilitated discussion groups.
