Employee waiver of holiday compensation enrollment open from April 2 – May 15, 2022
The collective bargaining agreements between New York State and UUP, CSEA, NYSCOPBA, PBANYS, and PEF allow employee waiver of holiday compensation.
New Paltz employees represented by CSEA, NYSCOPBA, PBANYS or PEF should use this form and submit it to Payroll by May 15, 2022, if they wish to waive holiday compensation and instead receive compensatory time off for holidays worked. The waiver will remain in effect until at least April 1, 2023.
UUP employees may opt to waive compensation time and instead receive additional compensation for holiday work. New Paltz employees represented by UUP should use this form and submit it to Payroll by May 15, 2022, if they wish to waive comp time and receive compensation for holiday work.
Employees may also elect to revoke any waiver of holiday compensation now in effect by submitting the form to the Payroll office by May 15, 2022.
