NEW PALTZ, NY — The Hawks suffered a tough 8-1 loss Friday night to the #15 ranked Thoroughbreds of Skidmore College. Skidmore got out to an early lead and never looked back with Casey Tang scoring her first of four goals at the 6:11 mark. The Thoroughbreds scored two more goals before New Paltz’s Ann Marie Rudd put the Hawks on the board off a corner with assists from Caitlin Ryder and Robin Albis to end the first half. New Paltz falls to 2-7 on the season as Elizabeth Dini made five saves in 46 minutes. The Hawks host Morrisville tomorrow at 1:00pm.
