Managment Association to host its 5th Student Development Day

NEW PALTZ — The Management Association will be hosting its 5th Annual Student Development Day business conference on Friday, October 27, 2006. The conference, which will be held on the 4th floor of the Student Union Building on the SUNY New Paltz campus, begins with registration and breakfast at 9:30am and concludes at 3:30pm. This year’s theme, “Got Future?,” will incorporate valuable workshops that focus on students’ lives after college. Attendees will receive important information about topics such as interviewing, résumé writing, public speaking, job search, proper business attire, and much more! Students will also have the opportunity to network with experienced business professionals from around the Hudson Valley during a buffet-style lunch. The personal experience, advice and networking opportunities available to students at this conference cannot be replicated in the classroom setting. Student Development Day is sponsored by the Mid-Hudson Human Resource Association, Jacobowitz & Gubits, LLP, and Dedrick’s Pharmacy & Gifts.
