Nominations Sought For Hall of Fame Class of 2006
NEW PALTZ. NY — The SUNY New Paltz Department of Athletics is seeking nominations to recognize as part of the Hall of Fame class of 2006 at its annual ceremony in May.
All nominations should be sent to SUNY New Paltz Director of Athletics Stuart Robinson by June 24, 2005.
Former student-athletes, coaches, administrators, support staff and friends of the department are eligible based on the following:
Former student-athlete: A nominee shall have:
Been a full-time student at New Paltz for at least two (2) years. Been associated with at least one varsity sport fro at least two (2) years. Not been associated with the University for a minimum of five (5) years. Shown athletic involvement, honors, awards, team contributions and/or leadership as evidenced by post season honors, such as All-American, All-State, All-Conference, individual championships and record setting performances.
Former New Paltz Administrator, Coach or Trainer:
A nominee shall have:
Been an administrator, coach or trainer for at least five (5) years. Not been associated with the college through retirement or resignation for at least two (2) years. Demonstrated great character, leadership and an unwavering commitment to the development of New Paltz student-athletes.
Meritorious Service:
A nominee shall have:
Had a unique identification with New Paltz athletics through moral and/or financial support. Exhibited a dedication and loyalty to the department of athletics.
