Spring 2004 All-Academic Team Announced
NEW PALTZ, NY — Twenty-Eight student-athletes at SUNY New Paltz were recently named to the athletic departments Spring 2004 All-Academic Team.
The honor goes to all student-athletes who receive a minimum grade point average of 3.5 and have made a significant contribution to his or her team.
Student-athletes from the following teams were honored:
Baseball: Jeff Cote’, Pete Esposito, Jesus Estaba, Josh Gutes, Jeff Sosis and Eric Velasquez.
Men’s Basketball: John Hauser and Matt Irwin.
Women’s Basketball: Lindsay Dakin and Tarah Norris.
Men’s Cross Country and Track & Field: Kyle Kerelchuk and Colin Mills.
Women’s Cross Country and Track & Field: Heather DeBuono, Kelly Moore, Janet Walsh, Alex Wojcik, Musu Jackson-Buckner, Kate Choromanski and Marissa Ouranitsas.
Field Hockey: Kelly Anderson and Allison Taub.
Men’s Soccer: Garrett Munro and Michael Dodge.
Women’s Soccer: Alison Fliegel, Karalyn Kudlak, Danielle Herring and Meredith Ventimiglia.
Softball: Val Blackman, Jen Born and Danielle Zakrewski.
Men’s Swimming: Craig Gottesman and Seth Phostole.
Women’s Swimming: Liz Delia and Danielle Lindner.
Men’s Tennis: Brad Breakstone, Bobby Calise aand Jason Letts.
Women’s Tennis: Jen Larson, Kerry Farrell and Amie Larson.
Men’s Volleyball: Chris Ganje and Shawn Livingston.
