Chamber of Commerce marks College’s 45th year of membership
Ulster County Regional Chamber of Commerce President & CEO Ward Todd recognized SUNY New Paltz for 45 years of membership at a Jan. 25 breakfast attended by more than 200 people from regional business, non-profit and government organizations.
The College’s long engagement with the Ulster Chamber has been extraordinarily productive and beneficial for all involved.
As the top employer and largest four-year institution of higher education in the County, New Paltz supports the economy not only through direct employment and spending, but also by serving as a cultural hub and gathering space for professionals in diverse industries to meet and forge lasting partnerships.
That service is in line with the mission of the Ulster Chamber to advance the region’s economic health and vitality, and nurture sustainable economic growth.
SUNY New Paltz also enjoys long-standing memberships in the Orange, Dutchess and New Paltz Chambers of Commerce.
