Hawks Slip to 1-3 With Loss to Misericordia
DALLAS, PA — Misericordia improved to 5-0 with a 5-0 over the SUNY New Paltz field hockey team this afternoon.
The Cougars scored three times in the first 16 minutes to remain undefeated. Kim Daniel and Jacky Finelli each had a goal and an assist for Misericordia who handed the Hawks third loss in four games this fall.
Misericordia goalie Liz Kovalchic made six saves to record her third shutout of the season. SUNY New Paltz, who played its first game since a 2-1 loss in sudden death penalty strokes to Kean on Sept. 3, managed just seven shots against the Cougars.
