Campus-wide transition from heating to cooling getting underway this week

The Facilities Management team at SUNY New Paltz has begun the seasonal transition from heating to air conditioning across campus buildings, with the goal to have cooling systems fully operational by Wednesday, May 7. 

Please note that once the heating systems are turned off and the cooling systems are activated, we will not be able to revert to heating.  

During this transition, especially in the early mornings, there may be slightly cooler indoor temperatures. Students, faculty and staff are advised to check the daily forecast and dress in layers as needed.
