Elting Middle Parking Lot will be closed week of Jan. 27

The following information was shared with SUNY New Paltz students by email on Jan. 24. 

The Elting Middle Parking Lot will be closed next week, the week of Jan. 27, for construction work. Please refer to the campus map above to locate this parking lot.  

The construction involves drilling to evaluate the conductivity of the soil to determine if this area could support future geothermal heating systems, in service of the campus’s greenhouse gas emissions reduction goals.   

We regret any inconvenience this causes our commuter population, and thank you for your understanding while this project is underway.
