Sojourner Truth Library study space available 24/7 for fall 2024

The Sojourner Truth Library is providing 24/7 access to the Front Lobby for more options and flexibility to study in the fall 2024 semester. 

Please note that there will be no food service or library service after-hours, just quiet study space with ample seating, outlets for charging electronics, security cameras, vending machines, a water fountain and restrooms. 

To gain access to the Lobby after the main part of the Library closes, you must use your valid SUNY New Paltz ID card on the card reader outside the main entrance to the building. Card-only access into the Lobby will be in effect from the time the Library closes until the Library opens the following day.   

With the exception of fall 2024 holidays (Labor Day weekend; Columbus Day weekend; Thanksgiving break) the Lobby is open to students when the main part of the Library is closed.
