Director of Purchasing David Farbaniec recognized for dedication to higher education procurement
SUNY New Paltz Director of Purchasing David Farbaniec was honored by his peers at the SUNY Purchasing Association annual conference with the Joanne Fazioli SUNY Procurement Award.
Throughout his tenure at SUNY New Paltz, Farbaniec has developed a reputation for being a dedicated, knowledgeable employee, overseeing how to obtain the most cost-effective and quality goods and services for SUNY New Paltz while adhering to state purchasing guidelines.

This award is given in recognition of a SUNY purchasing professional who has made outstanding contributions to the SUNY system, the SUNY Purchasing Association, their individual campus, and the general profession of state procurement. Each year, the recipient is honored for demonstrating continued energy, spirit and dedication to improving SUNY and their institution.
The Joanne Fazioli SUNY Procurement Award is named for the former SUNY system director of procurement, who served for more than a decade in the role.
