New parking designations for the fall 2022 semester

Use the campus map to make sure you’re parking in the right place!

The Parking Office advises the campus community that summer parking policies expired on Aug. 26, and all permit holders are now required to park in the lots that correspond to your parking permit designation.

These designations have been revised slightly to better serve students, faculty and staff. Some notable changes:

To improve pedestrian safety on campus, Pond Road will no longer be open for resident student parking or through traffic. Only Residence Life Office staff, delivery and service vehicles should need to access this area.

The South Classroom Parking Lot is now faculty and staff parking, only. This change is due to faculty relocations to this building for the JFT window project currently underway.

Resident students may park in the following lots: Bouton Hall Parking, Ashokan Hall Parking, Esopus Hall Parking, Lenape Hall Resident Parking, Route 32 South Resident Parking Lot 28A, South Parking.

A few additional reminders:

Please do not park in a handicapped or service vehicle space unless you have the corresponding permit that allows you to do so.

Parking in the fire lanes is not permitted at any time.

Visitor parking permits are $3 per day and can be purchased at the park and pay machines

Electric vehicle charging station spaces in any lot may be used by any permit designation while the vehicle is being charged.

During periods of peak traffic on campus, the Route 32 Lot generally often has parking places available throughout the day.
