Once at that page, you’ll see a drop-down menu and the question “How would you like to qualify?” You can choose “Qualify through a government assistance program,” then “Federal Pell Grant” in the next window.

New Paltz students who don’t receive Pell Grants may be eligible through other means. The internet service discount is also available to households that are at or below 200% of the Federal Poverty Guidelines, and to those who participate in other common government programs such as SNAP, Medicaid and the Veterans Pension and Survivors Benefit.

More than 1,300 internet providers accept the ACP benefit.
