Do you use Amazon Smile? If so, you can now sign up to raise funds for the Children’s Center on campus (at no cost to you)
The Children’s Center of New Paltz, Inc., is now registered as a charitable organization on Amazon Smile, meaning anyone can direct the online retailer to make contributions to our on-campus childcare facility with just a few clicks.
Through Amazon Smile, customers can select a charity then shop the site as usual. Amazon will donate 0.5% of the price of their eligible purchases to the selected charity, at no additional cost to the consumer.
As a non-profit organization, our on-campus Children’s Center is eligible for participation in this program. The Center serves many children and families in the campus community, helping students and employees work and attend class with the knowledge that their young kids are safe, cared for and nearby.
Funds raised for the Children’s Center through this new Amazon Smile option will go expenses that fall outside the operating budget, like maintaining outdoor playgrounds, sustaining an inventory of art supplies, and replacing worn toys and musical instruments.
