April 15: A Mind, Body, Spirit Day dedicated to movement and celebration

On Thursday, April 15, our third Mind, Body, Spirit Day of the spring 2021 semester embraces the season of renewal and regrowth.

There will be no class meetings of any modality on April 15, and we have asked faculty not to make assignments due on or immediately after our three Mind, Body, Spirit Days as well.

Offices will be open, but we hope that staff are also practicing self-care, whether they are telecommuting, working on campus, or using accrued time off with supervisor’s approval.

The College is planning a full day of programming around the theme of “Movement & Celebration,” designed to provide our community with opportunities to recharge and feel ready to take on the last few weeks of the academic year.

Update, April 14: Sadly, the weather is not cooperating and some outdoor events, including the kickball tournament and the concert on the Quad, have been postponed. Stay tuned for updates about when these activities will be rescheduled!

Students can see a full list of April 15 events on Engage, and scroll down for details about some highlights. [Note: Outdoor events may be relocated or rescheduled in the event of inclement weather.]
