Three Undergraduate Research deadlines on April 5: SURE applications, scholarships and Mentor of the Year nominations
The Research, Scholarship and Creative Activity program (RSCA) reminds students and faculty of three upcoming deadlines for student researchers and faculty mentors.
All three of the following programs have applications or nominations due on April 5:
Summer Research Experience Award (SURE) applications: These grants provide stipends and funding to support student-faculty collaborative projects during the summer.
Scholarship applications: The RSCA program has three scholarship opportunities for students who win summer or fall research experience awards. These scholarships can be used to support tuition or project expenses.
Faculty Mentor of the Year Award nominations: All members of the New Paltz faculty are eligible, regardless of rank, academic area or prior record of applying for RSCA grants. Faculty must have been engaged in some type of student scholarship or creative activity supervision (thesis advisor, research team supervisor, etc.) in the last three years.
Application/nomination forms and instructions can be found using the links above.
