Students: Save time and get funds faster by enrolling in Direct Deposit for Student Accounts
The Office of Student Accounts encourages all students to sign up for Direct Deposit to ensure you get your financial aid, student loans, refunds and other payments processed and into your account as soon as they are available.
Signing up for Direct Deposit means you won’t need to wait for checks to be mailed to your home address. Any funds issued to you from Student Accounts will automatically appear in your preferred bank account.
Signing up for Direct Deposit is easy to do at my.newpaltz.edu and just takes a few minutes. You’ll need your bank account number and your bank’s routing number, which can usually be found on any check or through your bank’s online interface.
Here’s how it’s done:
- Log in to my.newpaltz.edu
- Click on the Money link under RESOURCES on the left side of the page
- Log in into the Payment Center
- Click on “Sign Up for Direct Deposit Refunds”
- Carefully enter your bank account and routing number and save
That’s it! Once you’ve signed up, any payments from the Office of Student Accounts will be deposited into your bank, with no paper checks or extra delays in the transaction.
Direct Deposit for Student Accounts is open to all SUNY New Paltz students and is recommended as the most efficient way to get your funds.
