Call for course content: The Lifetime Learning Institute is building its spring 2021 schedule now
SUNY New Paltz’s Lifetime Learning Institute continues to provide stimulating, non-credit programs and courses for adults 55 and older, moving to Zoom and delivering remote experiences during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Program organizers are currently building the schedule for the spring 2021 semester, and welcome contributions from New Paltz faculty, staff and departments who are interested in working with this engaged and curious audience of adult learners.
Options are available for contributing a single presentation or a four- or eight-week course. The Lifetime Learning Institute offers a free membership for the year following your course (a $120 value).
Interested in learning more? Have a look at the Institute’s fall 2020 catalog to get a sense of the kinds of courses and programs it offers, and contact Steve Hirsch at srh12401@hvc.rr.com to start the process of offering spring 2021 content.
And, if you know someone 55 years or older who might enjoy an opportunity like the Lifetime Learning Institute, please be sure to help spread the word.
