Looking for some safe, fun things to do on Halloween? Campus events have you covered!
The Center for Student Engagement and other campus organizations are offering a full line-up of events for students this Halloween, including a costume contest, campus parade, scavenger hunt, movies, arts and crafts and more.
Please note that all events are open to the campus community only. Students must RSVP to all in-person events on Engage, per COVID-19 regulations.

The full program for Saturday, Oct. 31, includes:
All day: Scavenger Hunt, hosted by the Residence Hall Student Association.
1-3 p.m.: Window Painting Contest at Haggerty and Student Union, hosted by the Center for Student Engagement. Click here for details and to sign up. Winners get Amazon gift cards!
2 p.m.: Virtual Spooky Mask Making, Zoom, hosted by New Paltz Student Association.
3 p.m.: Halloween Zumba, Tennis Courts, hosted by Athletics, Wellness, and Recreation.
5-7 p.m.: Halloween Costume Contest, Atrium Plaza, hosted by Student Affairs. Prizes for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place.
5-7 p.m.: Trunk or Treat Walk and Crafts, Atrium Plaza, hosted by Student Affairs (come in costume, talk to campus staff, and get a goodie bag!). Please reserve your spot here.
7:30 – 11:30 p.m.: Outdoor Double Feature at Parker Quad: Hocus Pocus at 7:30 p.m., Happy Death Day at 9:30 p.m. Hosted by Residence Life. Must RSVP here.

11 p.m.: Halloween Karaoke Party, Zoom, Hosted by the Residence Hall Student Association.
Please be conscious of social distancing rules and always wear a mask while attending an in-person event. The SUNY New Paltz Party Patrol will be available to make sure students are following safety protocols, and they will hand out free masks and sanitizer to those who need.
