Reminder: Temporary parking permits expire Sept. 30, 2020
All SUNY New Paltz students and employees who commute to campus are encouraged to pick up a parking permit for the full 2020-21 academic year, if you have not done so already.
Temporary parking passes that were issued earlier this year expire on Sept. 30, and ticketing for non-permit parking on campus will begin on Oct. 1.
Due to the COVID 19 distancing requirements, the Parking Office is not open for walk in traffic this year and all permits must be purchased online using this link:

The cost of the permit is $25 for faculty and staff, $40/$80 for commuter students (half year/full year) and $100 for Management Confidential.
Follow these steps to purchase your permit:
- Select “Employee or Student Permits”
- Sign in with your New Paltz username and password
- Enter your information, including vehicle information
- Select payment method (check or credit accepted) and input payment information.
Purchased permits will be available for pickup in the Mail Room in the Haggerty Administration Building basement. The Mail Room is open Monday – Friday, 8:30 a.m. – 5 p.m. You will need your campus ID or driver’s license to pick up your permit.
