Student employees: Sign up for direct deposit and confirm addresses now to guarantee receiving your first paycheck
As the beginning of fall semester is fast approaching, the Payroll Department is encouraging all working students to set up direct deposit to guarantee receiving your paycheck starting the pay date of Sept. 24, 2020.
To set up direct deposit, please find the form at this link, print and fill it out with your signature and the date, and submit it to the Payroll Office (Haggerty Administration Building 301, payroll@newpaltz.edu).
The form must be submitted by Friday, Sept. 11, to ensure direct deposit on the Sept. 24 pay date.
Following the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic, New York State Payroll notified the College that it will mail all paychecks (including both pay stubs and physical paper checks) to the address on the paycheck. No distribution of payroll checks will occur on campus at this time, and this policy will continue until further notice.
Students who choose not to sign up for direct deposit should verify their addresses in the Payroll system, accessible through my.newpaltz.edu. If addresses are not updated, checks will be sent to the address of record, which could be the home address of the student.
