School of Business will offer free, online MBA advising
The SUNY New Paltz School of Business will offer free information sessions this spring to provide students and community members with an overview of the master of business administration degree (MBA) program.
All info sessions can be live-streamed via remote web conference, allowing anyone with an interest in the MBA program to get details and ask questions from the comfort of their own homes.
Info sessions will be held on March 25 and Apr. 23, from 5:30 – 6:30 p.m., and June 3 from 4:30 – 5:30 p.m.
The Apr. 23 session will include an in-person option in van den Berg Hall, room 310, on the SUNY New Paltz campus. All are welcome to attend in person or tune into one of the web conferences.
“These sessions include a little of everything: a full curriculum breakdown of the MBA, info on the admission requirements, help with the application process and a rundown of scholarship and graduate assistantship opportunities,” said Aaron Hines, the School of Business’s Assistant Dean for MBA Programs. “It’s exciting this year to be able to offer this information through the video conference format, and save our prospective students an extra trip to campus.”
There will also be information about the flexible part-time online MBA option, a new offering designed to better accommodate students looking for opportunities to fit professional advancement into their busy lives, and about the new, accelerated one-year option, for full-time students able to dedicate their energies to an immersive class load.
All members of the community are invited to participate in the online MBA info sessions. Those planning to attend are asked to register online at www.newpaltz.edu/mba.
