School of Business to host access to capital workshop for local start-ups
The SUNY New Paltz School of Business will partner with Community Capital New York to offer a free, one-hour workshop for regional entrepreneurs on Friday, March 3.
The workshop, titled “Access to Capital and Other Resources for Small Businesses,” will focus on one of the challenges that almost all new companies face: finding the resources (especially the funding) needed to invest and grow.
It will provide an overview of various sources of capital funding that are available to New York State start-ups and expanding businesses, and also highlight other resources that can be valuable to nascent companies, like executive coaching services and technical support.
“Access to Capital and Other Resources for Small Businesses” will take place on Friday, March 3 at 8 a.m. in van den Berg Hall, room 310.
The event is free, but space is limited; please reserve your seat with an RSVP to Martiza Lewis at 845-257-2930 or lewism@newpaltz.edu.
