Carlos Aponte has transferred from the Graduate School to Institutional Research and now serves as Research Analyst.
Gerald Benjamin, associate vice president for regional engagement and director of the Center for Research, Regional Education and Outreach (CRREO), has received a $132,999 grant from Albany County Comptroller for his project titled, “Albany County Local Government Collaboration for Efficiency Study.”
Aalim Chin (Human Resources) has been appointed Clerk 1.
Daniel Freedman, dean of the School of Science and Engineering and director of the Hudson Valley Manufacturing Center, has received a $35,000 grant from College of Nanoscale Science & Engineering for his project titled, “Molecular Organometallic Resists for EUV Year 3.”
William Hennessey (Library) has been appointed Library Clerk 2.
Elizabeth Shuipis (Records & Registration) has been promoted to Office Manager and Graduation Coordinator.
Chris Whitaker, advisor in the School of Education, won second place in a Boise State University literary writing contest for his magical realism novel “Summer Sun & Fire,” which explores Basque mythology.
