College Council schedules its next meeting
The College Council will hold its next meeting at 3 p.m. on Thursday, March 5, in the Haggerty Administration Building, Room 903, on the SUNY New Paltz campus.
Reports will be given by College Council Chairman Kenneth J. Abt and President Donald P. Christian.
Included in new business will be a budget update from Michele Halstead, vice president for administration and finance, and a presentation about study abroad opportunities for financially disadvantaged and underrepresented minority students from Bruce Sillner, dean for Center for International Programs and Tony Bonilla, director of the Educational Opportunity Program (EOP). In addition, Tanhena Pacheco-Dunn, executive director of compliance and campus climate, will present on SUNY-wide policies on sexual violence prevention and response.
SUNY New Paltz’s College Council meetings are being webcast over the Internet, in accordance with New York State Executive Order #3, which directs state agencies and public authorities to webcast all public meetings subject to the Open Meetings Law. At SUNY New Paltz, this impacts College Council meetings.
