There’s still time to donate to the winter coat drive
Now in its fifth year, the College’s winter coat drive, sponsored by the Office of Environmental Health & Safety and Facilities Operations, is helping to keep the community warm one coat at a time.
Now through Dec. 2, coats, hats, scarves, and gloves are being collected for the College’s Mid-Hudson Migrant Education Outreach Program and families in need in the New Paltz, Kingston, and Ellenville areas.
“Our annual coat drive illustrates the College’s continued effort to partner with the regional community by supporting our neighbors,” said Mike Malloy, director of environment health & safety at SUNY New Paltz. “We encourage you to donate a new or gently-used winter coat to help people stay warm this winter.”
Donation boxes are located in the lobbies of the Athletics Center, Haggerty Administration Building, Jacobson Faculty Tower, the Learning Center, Student Union Atrium, and van den Ber Hall.
