Alumni representatives appointed to newly formed SUNY New Paltz Alumni Advisory Council
The State University of New York at New Paltz is pleased to announce that 14 alumni representatives have been appointed to the newly formed SUNY New Paltz Alumni Advisory Council. The council represents the more than 63,000 New Paltz alumni.
These alumni representatives join two students and three administrators on the council, which assists the college in better engaging its alumni as part of the strategic plan. The council advises and reports to Director of Alumni Relations Brenda Dow.
Alumni representatives are Felix Chevalier ’93, Shana Circe ’02 ’08g, Robin Cohen-La Valle ’77 ’82g, Candice Dixon ’73, Amanda Gresens ’08, Pascal Guirma ’86, John Hoeschele ’86, Onika Jervis ’93 ’05g, Keith Kenney ’99 ‘10g, B. Desmond Murray ’82, Robert Thorn ’66 ’70g, Chanel M. Ward ’10g, Anthony T. Winn ’92, and Christopher Wright ’01.
This year’s student representatives are Oladoyin Olanrewaju ’15 and Brian Spina ’15, and administrative members are Director of Alumni Relations Brenda Dow, Vice President for Development and Alumni Relations Erica Marks, and Vice President for Enrollment Management L. The Alumni Advisory Council will play a vital role in the success of alumni relations at New Paltz this year and in the future. The college has also established a new SUNY New Paltz Alumni Association. All New Paltz alumni are automatically members of this association.
