College Council schedules its next meeting

NEW PALTZ – The College Council of the State University of New York at New Paltz will hold its next meeting at 3 p.m. on Thursday, March 6, in the Haggerty Administration Building, Room 903.

Reports will be given by College Council Chairman Kenneth J. Abt and College President Donald Christian.

Included in new business, Finance and Administration Vice President Michele Halstead will give a budget update and Erica Marks, vice president for development and alumni relations, will discuss scholarships. In addition, Daniel Freedman, dean of the School of Science & Engineering, and Paul Kassel, interim dean of the School of Fine & Performing Arts, will lead a tour of the MakerBot Innovation Center.

SUNY New Paltz’s College Council meetings are being webcast over the Internet, in accordance with New York State Executive Order #3, which directs state agencies and public authorities to webcast all public meetings subject to the Open Meetings Law. At SUNY New Paltz, this impacts College Council meetings.
