Redesigned Dorsky Museum website to be launched
NEW PALTZ – The Samuel Dorsky Museum at the State University of New York at New Paltz is pleased to announce a redesign of its website effective May 8, 2013. The website redesign follows the creation of a new logo and branding for The Dorsky in 2011 and a new look for the SUNY New Paltz campus website in 2012.
“It was time for a new look that was more compatible with both our branding and that of the college,” said Sara Pasti, The Dorsky’s Neil C. Trager Director. “The new design is simple and elegant, directing the viewers’ gaze first to the artwork and then to the information. Giving prominence to the exhibition images was of primary importance for us in the redesign process because art is the foundation of what we do at the museum. We couldn’t be more pleased with the result and hope that our audiences will enjoy the new site.”
The SUNY New Paltz Office of Communication & Marketing staff members who oversaw the museum’s redesign includes Mary Kastner, Jeff Lesperance, Justin Shumway and Matthew Skillman.
